Slots will be distributed and awarded proportionally within each gender. If any IRONMAN World Championship slots roll down, those slots will stay within the same gender. The donation areas for pre-loved goods are in the Recycling Centres, so if you’re planning to donate, you’ll need to make a booking. Your allowance will not roll forward if you don’t use all of your available slots for the month.

To get a more cost effective price you should separate your waste for recycling before going to site (e.g. into garden waste, wood, electricals etc). Those that do are likely to be similar to a Ford Fiesta van, Vauxhall Corsa or Renault Clio van.
If mixed waste and recycling is brought to the site this is limited to four visits per 28 days; for garden waste only, up to 6 visits per 28 days. If you are unable to attend your pre-booked slot, please cancel this using the link provided in the confirmation email received at the time of booking. You can donate items for re-use at all of Suffolk’s recycling centres in the orange re-use containers on site to support local charities.
Sites are now back to 100% capacity, making it even easier to make a booking. If you’re waiting to book a time slot for your visit, please hold on to your waste until a slot becomes available or you could try booking at another nearby site which may have availability. Most sites have good availability with Lowestoft, Haverhill and Stowmarket being the busiest sites. All re-use items from sites are sold through the two Re-use Shops at Bury St Edmunds and Foxhall Recycling Centres.

Vans, cars with large trailers and all trade waste customers should unload within 25 mins. Your booked 30 minute slot will allow for time to enter and leave the site.
